Conference Classification Details
- The sessions on Tuesday (2 November) are UNCLASSIFIED and are open to the general public. All materials must be suitable for public release. Sessions will also be broadcast over Zoom.gov webinar and will be open virtually to the general public.
- Sessions on Wednesday (3 November) will be held at the collateral SECRET level and can be attended only by U.S. citizens.
- Sessions on Thursday (4 November) will be held at the TOP SECRET // SCI level and can be attended only by U.S. citizens.
In-person registrants should be aware that beginning October 1, APL will be requiring visitors to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result from within 72 hours before being granted access to APL facilities. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation, and will send additional details on visitor requirements closer to the conference date. Current visitor information can always be found at

Citizenship Verification
Instructions for sending SCI accesses to JHU/APL
To arrange for a visit to the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), the visitor's facility security office should provide the subsequent
information on organizational letterhead verifying that the visitor holds a DoD security clearance or has had a
background investigation. The letter should be sent at least 5 days in advance of the visit and include the
info included in this document.
Unescorted Visits and Badging Requirements - U.S. Citizens Only
As a Laboratory engaged in classified Department of Defense (DoD) programs, we are obligated and required
to have procedures and controls in place to safeguard all classified technical information. This memo describes the
policies in effect for unescorted visitors to the Laboratory (JHU/APL).
